Overview About Dalian University of technology
Dalian University of Technology (DUT) is a key national university under China’s Ministry of Education, supported by Projects 211. DUT emphasizes science and engineering, alongside economics, management, humanities, law, philosophy, and arts.
Internationalization is a strategic goal for DUT. The university supports the “One Belt, One Road” education initiative and fosters global partnerships. DUT has collaborations with 311 institutions in 42 countries and regions, including three Sino-foreign cooperative institutions with Ritsumeikan University, Leicester University, and Belarusian State University, and one program with the University of California, Irvine.
To enhance students’ global perspective, DUT offers over 150 exchange programs, sending nearly 3,000 students abroad annually and hosting over 600 international experts each year. Since 2022, DUT has welcomed 1,315 international students.
DUT is part of 21 international education organizations, including the Sino-EU Engineering Education Platform and the University Alliance of Belt & Road. DUT also initiated Excellence 9 and Sixers, expanding its global network.

Benefits of Fully Funded Scholarship
Exempt from tuition, accommodation on campus;
Monthly allowance is offered as followings:
Master Degree Students: 3,000 CNY/month
Doctor Degree Students: 3,500 CNY/month
Comprehensive Medical Insurance.
Applicants are expected to cover their own international travel expenses.

Application Process and Time
Applicants should email their application forms and materials to the School of International Education at DUT (dutsice@dlut.edu.cn) between November 1, 2023, and February 15, 2024.
The admission notice will be sent to applicants at the end of July 2024, and enrollment will be in September 2024.
